Lab. Medicine Summit Forum was Held in Sanya, Hainan Province

(From Steven, Sanya) Three days Summit Forum of National Medical System Reform & Developmental Tendency of Lab. Medicine and 2007 Annual Meeting of Standardliztion Administration for Clinical Lab. & IVD System was held on Dec. 8, 2007, in Baohong Hotel, Sanya. The summit forum was hosted by National Technical Committee for Clinical Lab. & IVD System Standards, Chinese Society of Laboratory Medicine (CSLM) and Chinese Association for Clinical Laboratory Provider (CACLP) and undertook by Beijing Institute of Medical Device Testing (BIMDT).
Juanjuan Ann – Section Chief of IVD technology Evaluation Ceter of Department of Medical Device of State Food & Drug Adminnistration (SFDA), Prof. Yulong Cong – Chairman of CSLM, Yetao Xia Haibo Song – President & Secretary General of CACLP, Yi Liu – Director of BIMDT and Officers from FDA of state, Provinces and Multicipalities, Directors of Centers for Clinical Laboratory, Experts of Standardliztion Administration, level upper than Assistant Secretary General of Institute / Association and Chiefs of key enterprises took part in the summit forum. In today’s subject report, centered on the general concerned issues on registration evluation of IVD products, Ms. Ann made a brilliant lecture that entitled Issues & Suggestions on Tech. evluation to IVD products. According to the newly issued Management Regulation of IVD Reagent, she explain it clause by clause in her statement, which answered questions on new regulation. Progress of Biochip in Clinical Examination given by Jing Chen (Director of Biochip Beijing National Engineering Research Center), which represented the grand propects of biochip and the rapid progress that our nation had made for participants. It brought listeners into an entire new world. Secretary General, Hiabo Song who delivered Association – Role in the developement of Society and Medical Industry. By means of looking back on the history of establish, growth and expand of CACLP. It interpreted the importance of association in the new age and put forwarded a brilliant conclusion - Laboratory Medicine include not only technician of clinical lab., experts of colleges, universities and institutes, but also enterprises that work on medical industry sedulously, which got widely support by participants.
